NIE Mag Inc. Competition

The NIE Mag Inc. Competition result was announced a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, non of the teams from our class made it to the semi-finals. However, all of us were given national level certificates and a pizza voucher each. Multimedia presentation

On the 23rd of June, we presented our multimedia presentation in front of the whole class. Most of us did very well, but there were also some mistakes. Mdm. Essay-Natural Disaster

Hey there, last Wednesday Mdm. Sawaran gave us a task which is to do an essay about natural disaster. The essay that we've to write is about our experiences when natural disaster occurs. The best thing about this task is it is a group work! :) My group is doing an essay about our experience during the Japan earthquake. All essays must be submitted to Mdm. Sawaran via email by tomorrow (Sunday). I hope everybody will not procrastinate and submit their work by time.

PBL: School Disaster Map

Hello there,

As you guys know, we are currently doing our PBL project focusing on natural disaster which is flood. Last Tuesday, 2 groups had presented their school disaster map. They are very creative in making their disaster map more attractive. 2 other groups will present their disaster map next week. So below is one example of the school disaster map made by Avineda's group

Other than that, multimedia presentation and flyer of each group had been completed and we just need to present them in class.

PBL =)

Hello there!

Jiji here! :D Today I'm going to write about what we are currently working on, which is PBL. PBL is the acronym for Project Based Learning. The topic for the PBL is about natural disaster focusing on Flood. We were given until the middle of April to finish the project and the deadline for the scrapbook is on the 28th February 2011. We were also divided into 4 groups and we have to do some activities in group. This project is very enjoyable to do since most of the activities are awesome :D. For me myself, the coolest part of this project is the Survival Kit which we have to fill a bag with some things that may be useful in case of emergency and the bag mustn't contain more than 12 things and mustn't weight more than 12 kg.
